As Attendance Improvement Mentors, FSRI AmeriCorps members will serve at an elementary school in Providence and will mentor individuals and families to improve attendance rates, social emotional well being, and student and parent engagement. The AmeriCorps AIM Mentors will be trained in the evidence based Check and Connect program, Walking School Bus and Playworks programs. They will be assigned a caseload of up to twenty (20) students and provide supervision and support to half-time members.
