Some Responsibilities would include: Direct, lead, and supervise the individuals making up the clinical department as well as any individual assisting or performing clinically orientated tasks to the extent to ensure those tasks are performed and accomplished in an appropriate manner; Research/Develop as well as implement new and/or different therapeutic interventions, modalities and strategies; Develop and maintain working relationships with the other departments, Managed Care Organizations, any of their significant subsidiaries, and regulatory entities; To be able to assess, diagnose and reassess individuals for behavioral and mental health concerns as needed; To supervise, assist or perform the development of initial treatment plans; Monitor and assess youth through observation, interviews, communication with dorm staff, case manager, and review of reports and documentation; Provide individual & family therapy & counseling services as needed; Schedule and lead department meetings; Complete billing documentation as needed. Qualifications: Master level in human service field, Preferred Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). Director is qualified to provide clinical assessment and therapeutic services under the Iowa Plan and acceptable under other state plans.
