Reporting to the Head of Office of the Chief Information and Operations Officer, the **Workforce Strategy, Inclusion & Engagement** lead is responsible for building out OTA's target talent model and partnering with Human Resources to develop a comprehensive workforce strategy, and lead the technology talent transformation, through programs addressing every aspect of the talent lifecycle.. The **Workforce Strategy, Inclusion & Engagement** lead manages a team focused on internal customers (employees, business units and senior leaders), and external partnerships with third parties, providing strategic mentorship and advisory services and delivering business outcomes.. *Major Responsibilities:**. + **Target talent model --** Partners with the Technology Office and Human Resources to develop and maintain the target talent model, including job architecture.. + **Workforce & location strategy -** Partners with Human Resources, Corporate Real Estate and the business to define the strategy to optimize the talent supply and demand, with location and cost to deliver business outcomes.. *Inclusion & diversity programs**. + Leverages and supports MUFG IDEA Council to build an organizational culture where employees feel valued for their unique qualities and perspectives, feel a sense of belonging, and are empowered to bring their best selves to work.. + Builds channels and partnerships to develop rich engagement with non-traditional sources of talent.. + Builds programs that cultivate inclusive and reciprocal engagement and behavior and programs to attract and retain Women in Technology and Veterans.. *Training & development**. + Leads the staff awareness and training process and partner with talent development, corporate communications and the risk management office to create and provide a communication plan, ongoing professional skill and development training, and onboarding for technology staff.. *Employee engagement, rewards & recognition programs**. + Ensures a highly engaged workforce that supports retention, advancement, and high performance as well as creates relevant experiences for employees.. + Coordinates OTA-wide employee recognition programs and promote enterprise-wide recognition opportunities.. *Community and special event planning**. + Manages OTA Summer Analyst program and youth development programs.. + Supports select nonprofits through employee volunteerism and contributions.. + Maintains National Site Champion network and Quarterly Remote Employee call.. + Manages OTA participation in enterprise engagement initiatives.. *Qualifications**. Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Advanced study in Organizational Design, Human Resources, Change Management or related discipline is preferred.. *Skills & Abilities:**. + Must have 15 plus years of relevant experience leadership experience. + Works effectively in a team environment; addresses conflicts appropriately, and builds productive partnerships with customers, business partners, and stakeholders in order to achieve targeted business results. + Exceptional communicator; establishes links with business partners and ensures prompt, clear enthusiastic, and effective communications with these partners; presents complex issues and ideas with precision and clarity, adjusting appropriately for the audience; ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. + Skillfully crafts senior-level partner presentations, tailored appropriately to the audience. + Able to grasp new technology paradigms and assess them rapidly, using deep and broad technology experience in large, complex environments. + Experience bringing together diverse groups to solve complex problems in a collegial atmosphere. + Can think big and act fast with a start-up mentality while able to operate in a corporate environment. + Insatiable desire to learn and continue to open up the boundaries of current practices and technologies. + Ability to hire, mentor, develop and supervise the work of a small, highly skilled team, network and maintain relationships with known industry experts and leaders. + Stays abreast of talent and technology trends and cutting edge ideas to ensure an eye to the future. _The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
