Job Summary

We’re seeking an Army Training Management Instructor work as part of a team developing Army Unit Training Management instructional materials and briefings. This role will be responsible for conducting multiple live and virtual training sessions with various Army audiences.

Job Location: 721 Metropolitan Street, Leavenworth, KS 66048

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and present materials related to Unit Training Management (UTM), Digital Training Management (DTMS), and Combined Arms Training Strategy (CATS) to US Army Centers of Excellence (CoE) and schools, and Active Duty, Army National Guard, and Army Reserve Units
  • Assisting in Coordinating, planning and executing Army Unit training events in multiple forums
  • Developing and revising training materials and briefings to support dissemination of Unit Training Management doctrine and procedures
  • Working closely with Army units, and institutions to conduct live training sessions
  • Possessing a robust understanding of Army Training Management systems to include DTMS, CATS and ATN
  • Education and/or Experience

  • Army Captains Career Course (CCC) or a Senior NCO Academy – preferred graduate of CGSC/MEL4
  • Candidate must have at least five (5) + year’s general experience in Army training and education at the unit level 
  • Possess clear and precise oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Submit to required background checks
  • Able to meet requirements to work on a military installation, including having a valid state driver's license and automobile insurance
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to establish priorities and effectively manage time to complete multiple tasks within specified timeframes
  • Demonstrate high standards of quality and accuracy
  • Be in attendance and punctual as scheduled
  • Be completely functional in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Candidate must be able to travel as required
