In partnership with NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan our teams provide care for over 313,000 outpatient visits, nearly 70,000 emergency room visits and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with New York Medical College.


Responsible for management of Residency Program:


  • Demonstrates knowledge of the Privacy and Security rules outlined in the HIPAA guideline
  • Successfully completes the mandatory three day H + H orientation
  • Adheres and conforms to all hospital and departmental guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Answer emails, phone, file, and set up meetings
  • Schedule department's orientation
  • Set up laptop, computer, projector
  • Make copies for lectures, research, case conference and journal club
  • Student orientation, paperwork and set up Quadramed training
  • Student schedule on the unit, oral schedule, paperwork for their evaluations, orals, mid-core evaluations, attendance sheet
  • Making copies for all paper work for the students
  • Supplies order and pick up
  • Process reimbursements for the residents
  • Coordinate luncheons for the residents, meetings, research meetings
  • Cleaning after the residents
  • Obtain keys for all residents, students and new attendings
  • Writing letters for residents and recommendation letter for the Physicians
  • Scheduling all new applicants interviews, making copies of their files, sending out emails
  • Faculty appointment renewal
  • Graduation setup, making and printing all announcements, invites to graduation, reserving the venue for graduation, collecting the monies
  • Writing most of the meeting minutes with the Director and the Chief (past)
  • Consulting most residents on Director decisions
  • Printing and mailing out all letters, evaluations
  • New innovation trainings for residents and Physicians
  • Updating all state programs, ACGME, AADPRT, GME
  • Set up all files for all incoming residents, extend keys and beepers
  • Pick up the supplies for the resident lunches
  • Proxy the exam for State
  • Send out emails to all lecturers with attached forms
  • Send out emails about all events, including grand round journal club
  • Eras - appointments for new applicants
  • Print flyers for the monthly Grand Rounds conferences
  • Types and post unit and class assignments for Medical Students
  • Ensures that all credentials are updated for each resident

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint)
