WWU’s Youth Programs through Outreach and Continuing Education maintains a vacancy pool of qualified persons interested in temporary part-time positions teaching a specialty topic to youth. Positions are primarily needed for summer programs, but on occasion may also be needed throughout the academic year. In anticipation of possible openings, applications are accepted continuously, however, it is recommended that applications for summer positions be submitted by May 1st of that year. Summer programming includes weekly half-day or full-day periods (Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.).
