Summary of the Position: Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is looking for a BSC/MT (License preferred) for its Susquehanna and Wyoming County Program. The position is supervisory/hands on providing Behavioral Specialist Consultant and Mobile Therapy services to children with Autism or other Axis I diagnoses. Work with adults is a possibility. All applicants must be dependable, consistent and able to serve as a positive role model for clients in community and home settings.
Duties include but not limited to: Child and Family Therapy, Treatment Plan Development and implementation of treatment plans, supervision of staff and case coordination.
Flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, paid supervision and training with activity reimbursement. Pay commensurate with education and experienceRequired Qualifications:
Qualifications/Requirements: Masters Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, etc. with strong clinical skills and training or course work in Behavioral Modification with one year experience.
License is required (LSW, LCSW, LPC, or LBSC) to work with children on the Autism spectrum.
Must be able to pass Criminal Background Checks and Child Abuse Clearances (FBI, PA State Police Criminal, and ChildLine Child Abuse Clearance). Position requires reliable transportation, valid drivers license, clean driving record, and car insurance limits with a minimum of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident bodily injury liability.
