CSAP Program (Crisis Stabilization and Assessment) at Winslow is a short-term intensive treatment home for adolescents with neurodevelopmental/psychiatric/medical needs designed to help assess and stabilize them so they may successfully transition back home or into as home-like a setting in the community as possible. The child is in need of immediate Crisis Stabilization Services due to: (a) intense and frequent high-risk behaviors, self/other aggression, including SIB, e.g., head banging, property damage, and/or a psychiatric crisis, due to severely impaired processing; (b) expressing intent to harm oneself or others, and not deemed appropriate for hospitalization by a screening unit; and (c) family/caregiver/placement setting has been deemed unable to safely manage, that is supervise and adequately influence, the high risk behaviors.

Now Hiring - Part-Time Personal Assistants - Camden County

Personal Assistants will be expected to provide positive support, caring assistance and responsible supervision. This position is expected to require a unique sensitivity on the part of the applicants to recognize and appropriately respond to clients who may have evidenced difficulties.

Duties include but not limited to: Provide quality daily care (personal hygiene, housekeeping, meal preparation, and other related tasks) to ensure the health and safety of clients in the residence and community. Assist clients in meeting their individual goals and objectives as defined in their Individual Habilitation Plan. Dependent on client s IHP, teach/support the client with the following: bath, toilet, change adult absorbent underwear and linens, grooming and dressing, and self-administration of medication. De-escalate potential crisis situations and if necessary be prepared to control client physically. Keep accurate and timely records.

Work Schedule: Sat-Sun 3p-7a Requirements Must be at least 21 years or older

Must have a valid driver's license

3-5 years of experience providing direct care to youth in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting

High School Diploma or GED, DDD relevant experience and/or personal knowledge of developmental disabilities are required.

Preferred: Certificates in Pre-Service training, Danielle s Law and Positive Behavioral Supports.

All new hires are required to attend a week orientation: Monday through Monday 8:45am-4:00pm, upon hire.
